Cruise 2002

Our first family cruise - the adventure started when we nearly missed the ship due to flight delays.  We boarded the Jubilee, one of Carnival Cruise Lines "funships" in Tampa, Florida, with just minutes to spare.  Our journey took us just west of Cuba and then southeast to the Grand Cayman Islands, our first stop.  From there we headed west to Cozumel, Mexico, and then our return to Tampa.  We had a great time, no one got seasick, no one went hungry! 

The first night was the traditional Captain's dinner - formal attire required - followed by a show and meet the Captain.  Only one of us isn't smiling with the Captain!

In the Grand Cayman Islands, we toured a commercial turtle farm, went to Hell, and then headed to Stingray City - what an experience!

Final landfall, Cozumel, Mexico.  Exciting town and fascinating visit to Tulum, the only Mayan ruins on the ocean.
